The Alley

The Alley is known for its take on the popular brown sugar milk tea drink and the layout of the store shares a similar aesthetic to one of its competitor, Daboba. You can head over in the nighttime to see the craze over it where people are queuing hours for their drink. Besides, the interior of the store is quite a chill place so as a customer you can chill for a bit and have a chatter with your friends while waiting for your drink. The signature product for The Alley is the Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk (RM12.90).

Xing Fu Tang

Xing Fu Tang is known for its unique stir-fry pearls, which the pearls are hand-made and cooked in front of customers. Besides, the pearls themselves are made from hand-rolled dough, steamed, then stir-fried until goopy and the stir-fried pearls are ladled into the brand’s flagship product: Brown Sugar Boba Milk (RM12.50), which is topped off with another layer of crème brûlée on the top.

Daboba is also famous for its brown sugar milk beverage with cozy vibes interior design for their customers to relax and feel comfortable. Aside from regular pearls, they have golden pearl as well which are worth a try! Their signature product is Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk (RM13.90), and Honey Golden Pearl Green Milk Tea (RM9.90). On a side note, if you are a boba novice, look out for the woodland animals (a deer for The Alley and a brown bear for Daboba) on their logos to tell the brands apart easily.
